The cutting pages have the control word, the picture card and the separated letters for the words. Students name, color, and cut the components to join words.
Children place the control word beside the picture card and then continue with the letters on the building word board.
* Extra-practice pages
The extra-practice pages helps students learn to spell the words by using strategic steps. Children look, read, and draw the word, the memorize it, cover and write it, the check. Finally, they rewrite it three times correctly, checking each time.
* Quiz pages
In the quiz pages students look at the pictures and write the words correctly. Teachers correct their spelling and grade the work. we suggest that dictation is another way to evaluate. end the theme by having a spelling bee contest.
